**Hyderabad, India** – The blockbuster Telugu film *Pushpa: The Rise – Part 2*, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, is experiencing a significant drop in box office revenue after a brief resurgence. While the film’s extended version, “Pushpa 2 Reloaded,” initially boosted weekend collections, the Monday and Tuesday earnings plummeted by 56% and further, totaling just Rs 65 lakh and Rs 50 lakh respectively, according to Sacnilk.

Despite the slowdown, the film has already amassed a massive Rs 1,229.40 crore domestically and approximately Rs 1,735.40 crore globally (as of Monday, conflicting reports place the global gross at Rs 1,831 crore). This makes *Pushpa 2* the second highest-grossing Indian film of all time, surpassing *Baahubali 2*, *RRR*, *KGF: Chapter 2*, and *Jawan*, but still trailing behind *Dangal*.

The film’s success has, however, been overshadowed by several controversies. A tragic stampede during the premiere in Hyderabad led to the brief arrest of Allu Arjun. Furthermore, the Income Tax Department recently conducted raids on the premises of the film’s production companies, Mythri Movie Makers and Sri Venkateswara Creations, sparking speculation regarding the public release of budget and box office figures.

Competition from other recent releases, including *Daaku Maharaaj*, *Game Changer*, and *Emergency*, has also impacted *Pushpa 2*’s performance. Although none of the competitors are major box office hits, they have chipped away at the market share of the Allu Arjun starrer.

While the theatrical run concludes, *Pushpa 2* is poised for its OTT debut soon. Streaming rights have reportedly been sold for a significant sum, with an anticipated release 56 days after its theatrical premiere.
