**New Delhi, India** – Royal Enfield has unveiled its highly anticipated Scram 440, a new adventure bike targeted at young riders. Priced competitively at ₹2.08 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant, the Scram 440 offers a blend of style, performance, and affordability.
The bike is available in two variants: Trail and Force, with the latter offering premium features and a slightly higher price tag of approximately ₹2.15 lakh. Both variants boast a powerful 443cc air/oil-cooled engine generating 25.4bhp and 34Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Royal Enfield claims the engine is optimized for comfortable long-distance riding.
Design-wise, the Scram 440 draws inspiration from the Scram 411, featuring a round headlight with a small cowl, a large fuel tank, and a slim tail section. It’s available in five striking color options: Force Teal, Force Grey, Force Blue, Trail Green, and Trail Blue.
Suspension is handled by telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear, promising a smooth ride even on rough terrains. Braking duties are performed by single disc brakes on both wheels.
