**Hisar, Haryana:** A flurry of activities across Hisar highlighted the region’s commitment to sports, skill development, and public health. Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUST) hosted a successful two-day inter-college cricket tournament at the Maharana Pratap Stadium, showcasing the university’s dedication to fostering a vibrant sports culture. The final match saw DN College Hisar compete against the University Teaching Departments team. Prof. Manish Kumar, Dean of the Directorate of Sports, emphasized the importance of sports for student well-being.

Meanwhile, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (HAU) partnered with the Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes (CIRB) to launch skill development programs for farmers, particularly focusing on marginalized communities. The initiative will offer training in areas like dairy, organic farming, beekeeping, and mushroom cultivation, leveraging HAU’s infrastructure and CIRB’s funding.

A ten-day Surya Namaskar yoga camp commenced at Dayanand College, Hisar, as part of the Haryana Yoga Commission’s “Har Ghar Parivar Surya Namaskar Abhiyan,” promoting yoga for better health. The college also held an open forum encouraging students to discuss health concerns openly.

**Panipat, Haryana:** SD PG College celebrated the achievements of two students, Jatin Saini and Dipanshu Rohila, who won three medals at the All India Inter-University Karate Championship in Rohtak. Saini secured silver (67kg) and bronze (team fight), while Rohila won silver (84kg).
