NAVI MUMBAI, January 17, 2025 – With Coldplay’s highly anticipated “Music of the Spheres World Tour” concerts set for January 18th, 19th, and 21st at the D.Y. Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, authorities are implementing extensive security measures. Nearly 1,000 police officers will be deployed to manage the expected crowd of 45,000 fans per show.
The Navi Mumbai police announced that 70 officers and 434 policemen will be stationed inside the stadium, while an additional 21 officers and 440 policemen will be deployed outside each day. To further facilitate crowd control, heavy vehicle movement from Uran, Nhavasheva, Pune, and Thane has been restricted during the concert dates. Similar restrictions are in place within Thane city’s jurisdiction. Designated parking areas have been established for attendees. The concerts promise a massive influx of people and a substantial security presence to ensure a smooth and safe event.
