**Mumbai, India** – The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the schedule for the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025. The tournament, featuring five teams and a total of 22 matches, will run from February 14th to March 15th, expanding to four cities this year.

The opening match will see defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalore face Gujarat Giants in Vadodara. The final will be held in Mumbai. Matches will be spread across Vadodara (six matches, including the opening match at the newly built BCA stadium), Bengaluru (eight matches), Lucknow (four matches), and Mumbai (four matches, including the eliminator and final).

This year’s tournament marks a significant expansion from the 2024 season, which was limited to two cities (Bengaluru and Delhi), and the inaugural 2023 season played entirely in Mumbai. All matches will be single headers. The full schedule is available online. The BCCI’s decision to expand the tournament to four cities aims to broaden the reach and excitement of the WPL.
