NEW DELHI, January 17, 2025 – Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the second edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo today, a major automotive and mobility event expected to showcase over 100 new product and technology launches. The six-day expo, running from January 17-22, brings together the entire automotive value chain, from manufacturers to component suppliers and technology firms, under one roof.
The expo, held across three venues in Delhi and Greater Noida, features the return of the biennial Auto Expo to its original location at Bharat Mandapam. Over 5,100 international participants and an estimated 500,000 visitors from around the globe are expected.
Electric vehicles are a major focus, with Maruti Suzuki unveiling its first electric SUV, the e-VITARA, and Hyundai launching the Creta EV. Luxury brands Mercedes-Benz and BMW will also showcase and launch several electric models. More than 40 new product launches are anticipated in the automotive segment alone.
A dedicated components show, running from January 18-21, will feature over 1,000 exhibitors from seven countries, including dedicated country pavilions. Over 60 new product and technology launches are expected in this sector. A concurrent construction equipment expo will also take place.
The expo is supported by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and several industry associations, highlighting India’s growing automotive and mobility sector. The theme, “Beyond Boundaries: Co-creating Future Automotive Value Chain,” emphasizes collaboration and sustainable technological advancements.
