**Belagavi, Karnataka – January 18, 2025** – AICC general secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala has dismissed reports that the Congress party issued a show-cause notice to Karnataka Minister and KPCC working president Satish Jarkiholi. Surjewala, speaking to reporters in Belagavi on Friday, categorically denied the rumors, stating that there are no plans to replace the current KPCC president.

The reports, which suggested Jarkiholi faced disciplinary action for advocating a leadership change within the KPCC, were labelled “baseless” by Surjewala. He attributed the rumors to the BJP, alleging an attempt to sow discord within the state Congress. Surjewala’s statement followed a meeting with Jarkiholi at the Congress Bhavan in Belagavi. He was in the city to oversee preparations for the upcoming “Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan” event scheduled for January 21st.
