**Hyderabad, January 17, 2025** – Three men have been arrested in connection with the double murder that occurred earlier this week at Khajaguda hillocks in Hyderabad. The accused, identified as Rahul Kumar Saket (26), Raj Kumar Saket (22), and Sukhendra Kumar Saket (30), all hail from Sidhi district, Madhya Pradesh. They were remanded to judicial custody on Thursday.
The victims, 25-year-old Bindu and 25-year-old Ankit Saket, were found dead 60 meters apart near the Ananta Padmanabha Swamy temple on the hillock. Police investigations reveal that Rahul planned Ankit’s murder due to personal grievances and enlisted the help of his two co-accused. The trio allegedly committed the murders on the night of January 11-12 and fled to their native village on January 12.
Police reports indicate that Bindu was sexually assaulted before her death, and her face was severely damaged in an attempt to hinder identification. Bindu, a mother of two, was a resident of Vanasthalipuram and originally from Chhattisgarh, while Ankit resided in Nanakramguda. Both were from Madhya Pradesh. The investigation is ongoing.
