**New Delhi, January 17:** Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) are expected to experience another spell of rain later this week, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). A western disturbance is predicted to become active on January 21st and 22nd, bringing rain primarily during the evenings and nights. This will likely exacerbate the already chilly conditions.

The IMD forecasts a period of intense cold until January 25th. However, there’s no significant change in weather expected for the next couple of days (January 17th and 18th). Rain is unlikely until January 20th.

Moderate fog is anticipated for January 18th, with minimum temperatures around 7°C and maximums around 19°C. There’s a possibility of dense fog in some areas. Light fog or mist is also expected in the evenings and nights.
