**Mumbai, India** – Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked in his home early on January 16th in what police are investigating as a home invasion. The attacker, who initially targeted Khan’s house help, injured the actor when he intervened. Khan sustained injuries to his left wrist, chest, and back from a weapon described as a “hexa blade,” a multi-bladed tool known for inflicting severe wounds.
Khan was rushed to Lilavati Hospital where he underwent surgery. He is reportedly out of danger. Police have confirmed that a portion of the hexa blade was embedded in Khan’s back and surgically removed. The attacker remains at large. The investigation is ongoing.
