**Mysuru, Karnataka –** A 41-year-old man died outside Cheluvamba Hospital in Mysuru on Monday morning, prompting an investigation into the cause of death. Shivu Gopalaiah, a resident of Chamarajanagar district, had been attending to his wife, who was admitted to the hospital’s ICU for childbirth three days prior. She had delivered a baby via C-section on Saturday, and both mother and child are reportedly doing well.
Hospital officials stated that Mr. Gopalaiah, who had no other family members present, may have chosen to sleep outside the hospital to be readily available in case of an emergency.
