Sat Jan 11 17:50:49 UTC 2025: ## Ram Mandir Anniversary to be Celebrated on January 11, 2025
**Ayodhya, India** – The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust announced today that the first anniversary of the Ram Mandir’s Pran Pratishtha ceremony will be observed on January 11, 2025, aligning with the Hindu lunar calendar. The ceremony, originally held on January 22, 2024, will be commemorated as “Pratishtha Dwadashi.”
The Trust’s decision to shift the date from the Gregorian calendar to the Hindu calendar reflects a commitment to traditional practices. January 11, 2025, marks Paush Shukla Paksha Dwadashi, the auspicious 12th day of the waxing moon in the month of Paush, according to the Hindu lunar calendar.
A series of rituals, prayers, and cultural programs are planned from January 11 to 13, 2025, offering devotees and saints the opportunity to participate in the celebrations. The events will mark the first anniversary of the installation of Ram Lalla’s idol in the newly constructed temple.
While the core structure of the Ram Temple is complete, construction of the entire complex is ongoing and is now expected to be finished by September 2025, a delay from the initial June 2025 target date. The temple, built in the Nagara style of architecture, will feature three floors, 392 pillars, and 44 gates upon completion.
The consecration ceremony in January 2024 drew thousands of devotees and dignitaries, marking what Prime Minister Narendra Modi described as the beginning of a new era. Since then, Ayodhya has seen a surge in tourism, contributing significantly to Uttar Pradesh’s tourism numbers.
