**Miryalaguda, Telangana:** A significant development has emerged in the sensational Pranay Kumar murder case that shocked the nation in 2018. Three individuals have been arrested for submitting forged surety documents on behalf of Subhash Sharma, the main accused in the brutal murder of Pranay.

Pranay, who belonged to a lower caste, was murdered in September 2018 by a hired gang at the behest of his wife Amrutha’s father, Maruthi Rao, a wealthy businessman. Rao disapproved of their inter-caste marriage. The murder, which took place while Amrutha, who was pregnant at the time, was being transported to a hospital, was caught on CCTV footage. Rao later committed suicide in 2020.

Following the high-profile case, police arrested several individuals involved, including Rao, Sharma, and other members of the hired gang. While both Rao and Sharma were later released on bail, police recently discovered that Sharma had submitted forged surety documents to secure his release. The three individuals arrested for providing these false documents have been remanded to judicial custody for 14 days by the Miryalaguda court. The case continues to generate significant public interest across Telangana and India.
