Wed Jan 08 18:30:00 UTC 2025: **Telangana Government Allows Increased Ticket Prices for Ram Charan’s ‘Game Changer’**
HYDERABAD, INDIA – The Telangana government has granted permission for increased ticket prices for the upcoming Telugu film, “Game Changer,” starring Ram Charan and directed by Shankar. The decision follows a request from the film’s production team.
The government has permitted six shows on the film’s release day (Friday), starting from 4 AM. For the release day, an additional ₹100 will be allowed for single screens and ₹150 for multiplexes. From January 11th to 19th, five shows will be permitted with an additional ₹50 allowed for single screens and ₹100 for multiplexes.
However, the government rejected the request for a midnight 1 AM benefit show with increased pricing. This contrasts with the Andhra Pradesh government, which has approved both increased ticket prices and benefit shows for “Game Changer,” setting a price of ₹600 (including taxes) for the midnight show and permitting six shows on January 10th. In Andhra Pradesh, an additional ₹175 (including GST) is allowed for multiplexes and ₹135 (including GST) for single screens, with these prices valid for five shows from January 11th to 23rd.
