Wed Jan 08 14:41:32 UTC 2025: ## ISKCON Hubballi-Dharwad to Celebrate Vaikunta Ekadasi with Grand Festivities

**Hubballi, January 8, 2025** – The ISKCON Hubballi-Dharwad Temple is gearing up for a grand celebration of Vaikunta Ekadasi on Friday, January 10th. Temple president Rajiv Lochan Dasa announced that the day-long event is expected to draw around 15,000 devotees.

The festivities will center around a spectacular 15ft high and 11ft wide gold-painted Vaikunta Dwara (celestial gate), erected along with a 12ft tall idol of deity Paramapada Narayana. The Vaikunta Dwara Puja will commence at 8:30 a.m., with the gate opening to the public from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Throughout the day, devotees can participate in Laksharchane, a special form of worship.

A Venkateshwara Homa for world peace will be held at 5 p.m., followed by classical dance performances by Sahana Bhat and Hema Waghmode and their troupes from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Prasadam will be served to all devotees throughout the day. ISKCON Vice President Raghottam Dasa highlighted the spiritual significance of Vaikunta Ekadasi and other planned rituals.
