PATNA, INDIA – Prashant Kishor, founder of the Jan Suraj party, has been admitted to Medanta Hospital in Patna after his health deteriorated significantly during a hunger strike. Doctors have reported his condition as critical and he has been moved to the ICU. Despite medical advice, Kishor continues his fast, demanding the cancellation of the BPSC exam. He is receiving intravenous nutrition. Doctors warn that prolonged fasting could lead to serious complications.

Separately, a new case has been filed against Kishor in Patna. He is accused of creating a disturbance in the court premises, assaulting police officers, and obstructing government work.
