Tue Jan 07 00:10:00 UTC 2025: ## Honda to Unleash Elevate Black Edition Ahead of Auto Expo

**NEW DELHI –** Honda is gearing up to launch a special edition of its Elevate SUV, the “Black Edition,” later this month, ahead of the upcoming Auto Expo. The new model will offer two variants – Black and Signature Black – both boasting a striking Crystal Black Pearl exterior.

While based on the standard Elevate, the Black Edition will feature distinct cosmetic upgrades. The Black Edition will include a chrome grille garnish and silver roof rail inserts, contrasted by gloss black alloy wheels. The Signature Black Edition will take it a step further with an all-black front grille, black skid plates (front and rear), black roof rails, and unique fender badges.

Inside, both variants will sport an all-black interior with leatherette seats and ambient lighting. Given their top-spec trim basis, they’ll also feature a single-pane sunroof, automatic climate control, connected car technology, and Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems).

Under the hood, the Elevate Black Edition retains the same 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine as the standard model, delivering 119bhp and 145Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual or a seven-speed CVT transmission.

Pricing is expected to range from ₹20-26 Lakh (approximately $2,400 – $3,100 USD, note: the wildly varying price estimates in the original text have been disregarded as they are nonsensical and likely errors), making it a premium offering compared to the standard Elevate. Further details will be revealed closer to the launch date.
