Tue Jan 07 09:30:00 IST 2025: ## NVIDIA Unveils Groundbreaking AI and Gaming Technologies at CES 2025

**Las Vegas, NV –** NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang delivered a blockbuster keynote address at CES 2025, unveiling a range of new products and platforms poised to revolutionize gaming, autonomous vehicles, robotics, and artificial intelligence. Huang declared the arrival of “physical AI,” AI capable of planning and acting in the physical world, a leap forward enabled by NVIDIA’s GPUs and platforms.

The highlight of the presentation was the launch of the **GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs**, boasting up to 92 billion transistors and delivering unprecedented performance for gaming. The new GPUs incorporate advanced AI features like DLSS 4 (offering up to 8x performance boosts) and RTX Neural Shaders for enhanced realism. The RTX 5090 and 5080 will be available January 30th, with other models following in February and March.

Beyond gaming, Huang introduced **NVIDIA Cosmos**, a world foundation model platform designed to accelerate development in robotics and autonomous vehicles (AVs). Cosmos provides a foundation for building physical AI systems, enabling developers to simulate various scenarios and optimize robot and AV behavior. Major companies like Hyundai, Uber, and numerous robotics firms have already adopted the platform, which is open-source and available on GitHub.

Furthering NVIDIA’s commitment to AI, Huang announced **AI foundation models** for RTX PCs, empowering developers to create AI agents for various applications. These models, offered as NVIDIA NIM microservices, are optimized for the new GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs and are designed for easy integration into software packages.

In the autonomous vehicle sector, NVIDIA showcased the **DRIVE Hyperion AV platform**, built on the new AGX Thor system-on-a-chip. This end-to-end platform integrates advanced sensors, safety systems, and AI capabilities, with adoption by leading automakers including Mercedes-Benz, JLR, and Volvo Cars. NVIDIA’s AI data factory, powered by Omniverse and Cosmos, will generate massive synthetic datasets to train these AV systems.

Finally, Huang revealed **Project DIGITS**, a compact yet powerful AI supercomputer designed to bring the power of AI to every developer. Powered by the GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, Project DIGITS is expected to be available in May.

The announcements showcase NVIDIA’s continued leadership in AI and its ambition to integrate AI into every aspect of computing, from personal gaming PCs to the next generation of autonomous vehicles and robots.
