Mon Jan 06 13:24:45 UTC 2025: **Two Fans Die in Accident After Ram Charan’s “Game Changer” Event**
RAJAMAHENDRAVARAM, Andhra Pradesh – Two young men who attended the pre-release event for Ram Charan’s upcoming film, “Game Changer,” died in a road accident on Saturday night. Avani Manikanta (23) and Thoka Charan (22) were returning home from the event in Rajahmundry when their motorbike collided with a van in Vadisaleru.
The event, which was also attended by Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan, was largely successful. However, the tragic accident cast a shadow over the celebrations.
Ram Charan expressed deep condolences and announced an ex-gratia payment of ₹500,000 (approximately $6,000 USD) to the families of each victim. He stated his sorrow at the incident and emphasized his desire for all attendees to return home safely. Producer Dil Raju also announced a similar contribution to the families.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident. “Game Changer,” directed by Shankar and also starring Kiara Advani, is scheduled for release on January 10th.
