**Thiruvananthapuram, January 4, 2025** – The Kerala government has extended the deadline for public comment on the Kerala Forest (Amendment) Bill to January 10th. The original deadline of December 31st was pushed back due to delays in publishing the Malayalam version of the bill on the Kerala Legislative Assembly website.

The extension was announced Saturday by the office of Forest Minister A.K. Saseendran. Individuals, organizations, and legal professionals can submit their feedback via mail or email to the Additional Chief Secretary, Forest and Wildlife department. The bill is available for review on the Assembly’s website: http://www.niyamasabha.org. Comments must be in English and adhere to the publication’s community guidelines.
