**Los Angeles, CA** – Netflix has released the trailer for the highly anticipated second season of its hit spy thriller, *The Night Agent*, dropping a literal bombshell with star Gabriel Basso’s skydiving stunt during the NFL’s Christmas Day game. The trailer reveals that Basso’s character, Peter Sutherland, is now on the run after uncovering a dangerous mole within the CIA.

Season two, premiering January 23, 2025, picks up after the events of the first season, which saw Sutherland, a low-level FBI agent, rise to become a Night Agent after saving the President. This time, a mission gone wrong leaves him a fugitive, desperately trying to stop the sale of American intelligence and a cache of weapons capable of devastating Manhattan. He seeks help from season one’s love interest, Rose (Luciane Buchanan), while operating outside the law.

The new season boasts a returning cast including Amanda Warren, Berto Colon, Louis Herthum, Arienne Mandi, Michael Malarkey, and Keon Alexander, with Brittany Snow and Teddy Sears in recurring roles. Basso performed an impressive feat for the trailer’s release, completing over 20 skydives in just four days to capture the thrilling jump from the Netflix NFL Christmas Gameday Blimp.

Even more exciting for fans, Netflix has already greenlit a third season, currently filming in Istanbul and New York, with several new cast members joining the fray, including David Lyons, Jennifer Morrison, Stephen Moyer, Genesis Rodriguez, and Callum Vinson. Details surrounding their characters remain undisclosed. *The Night Agent*, produced by Sony Pictures Television, promises a continued thrilling ride for viewers.
