**Chennai, December 27, 2024** – Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin launched two major food initiatives on Thursday. The “Day Long Annadaanam” scheme, spearheaded by the Department of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE), will provide free meals at the Azhagar Koil in Madurai and the Marudhamalai temple in Coimbatore. Additionally, a new mid-day meal program was inaugurated for one school and four colleges run by the Palani Arulmigu Dhandayudhapani Swamy Thirukoil, benefiting 5,775 students. The Chief Minister launched both programs via video conference from the Secretariat.
