Fri Dec 20 17:31:05 UTC 2024: ## BJP Accuses DMK in Tamil Nadu Party Worker Murder
**Chennai, December 21, 2024** – The Tamil Nadu president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), K. Annamalai, has accused the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) of involvement in the murder of a BJP functionary. Annamalai alleges that V. Vittal Kumar, an office bearer in the BJP’s spiritual wing, was murdered on December 16th. He claims that the murder is linked to prior disputes between Kumar and a DMK member, Bala Sait, president of Nagal panchayat. The surrender of two individuals allegedly connected to Sait further strengthens Annamalai’s accusations of DMK involvement.
Annamalai criticized the deteriorating law and order situation in Tamil Nadu, citing the incident as evidence. He called for the immediate arrest of all those involved in the murder and condemned the DMK’s alleged practice of offering party posts to anti-social elements. The BJP leader’s statement comes amidst heightened political tensions in the state.
