NEW YORK, NY – Streaming service Max unveiled its jam-packed January 2025 programming slate, featuring a diverse range of original series, returning favorites, and a selection of A24 films. The month kicks off with the premiere of the new medical drama *The Pitt* (January 9th), starring Noah Wyle as an emergency room attending physician in a Pittsburgh trauma center. The show, reminiscent of *24*, will release one hour-long episode weekly, covering a portion of his 15-hour shift, after a two-episode premiere.
Also premiering in January is season five of the adult animated series *Harley Quinn* (January 16th), which sees Harley and Poison Ivy facing off against Lex and Lena Luthor and Brainiac in Metropolis.
Documentaries slated for January include *Sons of Ecstasy* (January 9th), an original film exploring the 1990s Arizona ecstasy trade, and the three-part miniseries *An Update on Our Family* (January 15th), focusing on controversial YouTubers Myka and James Stauffer and the family vlogging world.
Adding to the lineup, Max will feature three A24 films: the horror-comedy *The Front Room* (January 3rd), the documentary *Look Into My Eyes* (January 10th) about NYC psychics, and the psychological thriller *A Different Man* (January 17th) starring Adam Pearson and Sebastian Stan.
Returning favorites include a new season of *Real Time with Bill Maher* (January 17th), along with Bill Maher’s 13th HBO comedy special, *Is Anyone Else Seeing This?* (January 10th).
