**New Delhi, India –** Kia India has officially launched its highly anticipated Syros compact SUV. The unique design vehicle boasts a range of features and will be available for sale in February 2025. Unofficial bookings have already begun at select dealerships, with official pre-bookings opening on January 3rd, 2025. The Syros will also be showcased at the India Mobility Show in January 2025.
The Syros offers six trims (HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+ (O)) and a choice of two engines: a 120bhp, 1.0L turbo-petrol and a 116bhp, 1.5L diesel. The petrol engine is paired with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT gearbox, while the diesel offers a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. Higher automatic variants include paddle shifters.
Safety is a key focus, with the Syros featuring six airbags and a radar-based Level 2 ADAS system with 16 self-control features. Unlike the Sonet and Seltos, the Syros will not offer a naturally aspirated petrol engine.

* **1.0-liter Turbo Petrol:** 120 PS power, 172 Nm torque; 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT gearbox.
