**New Delhi, [Date]** – The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta today released the results for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024. A total of 14 candidates achieved a perfect 100 percentile score, with 13 men and 1 woman among them. Thirteen of the top scorers are engineers.

Maharashtra led the states with the highest number of 100 percentile scorers, followed by Telangana (2) and several other states with one each. A further 29 candidates scored 99.99 percentiles, and 30 achieved 99.98 percentiles. Maharashtra also had the highest number of candidates in the 99.99 percentile bracket.

A total of 3.29 lakh candidates registered for the exam, including 1.19 lakh women, 2.10 lakh men, and 14 transgender candidates. Of these, 2.93 lakh appeared.
