**Tower, MN (December 19, 2024)** – The community of Tower is mourning the loss of Amanda Rae Boshey, 38, who died Tuesday, December 17th, in a tragic accident. Boshey, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, was remembered for her infectious laugh, her unwavering love for her five children, and her dedication to her recovery and community.

Boshey worked as a laborer for Whitebird Services and was actively involved in her recovery community, harboring dreams of opening her own treatment center on the reservation. She leaves behind a large and loving family, including her parents, Dale Boshey Sr. and Kimberly (Bradley) Day; children Annakeiah, Anastashia, Nella, Memphis, and Kolton; siblings Aaron, Dale Jr., Elijah, Ablaza, Amber, Megan, and Jackie; and numerous other relatives.

A wake will be held Friday, December 20th, at 5:00 pm at the Vermilion Wellness Center, followed by tribal rites at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 21st, with Vernon Adams serving as Spiritual Advisor.
