**Mumbai, India** – The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced a significant recruitment drive, opening 13,735 vacancies for Junior Associates in its clerical cadre. This news offers a promising opportunity for aspiring banking professionals.

The application process begins on December 17, 2024, and concludes on January 7, 2025. Interested candidates can apply online through the official SBI website, sbi.co.in. The vacancy breakdown includes 5870 general category positions, 2118 for SC, 1385 for ST, 3001 for OBC, and 1361 for EWS candidates.

Applicants must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university. Final-year students can also apply, provided they obtain their degree by December 31, 2024. Knowledge of the local language (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) of the chosen state is mandatory.

Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age (born between April 2, 1996, and April 1, 2004). Age relaxation of 5 years is available for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Selection will be a three-stage process: a preliminary exam, a main exam, and an interview, followed by document verification. The salary offered ranges from ₹17,900 to ₹47,920, with a basic pay of ₹19,900.

The application fee is ₹750 for general, OBC, and EWS candidates. SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates are exempted from the fee.
