**Hyderabad, December 15, 2024** – Residents of several Hyderabad neighborhoods will experience disruptions to their water supply on Sunday due to damage to a major water pipeline. The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) announced that a 33-inch diameter feeder main supplying water from the Asif Nagar filter beds to the Red Hills reservoir has been damaged.
The disruption will affect numerous areas, including Red Hills, Bazaar Ghat, Mallepally, and parts of Nampally, Khairatabad, and Vijay Nagar Colony, among others. The HMWS&SB has cited the pipeline damage as the reason for the interruption and is working to repair the affected section. Residents in the affected areas are advised to prepare accordingly.
