**New Delhi:** The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the final results for the SSC GD Constable recruitment examination 2024. A total of 44,266 candidates have been selected, with 39,375 men and 4,891 women securing positions in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), SSB, and Assam Rifles. The recruitment drive aimed to fill 46,617 vacancies across various forces.
The selection process included a written examination (held from February 20 to March 7 and March 30, 2024), a physical endurance test (PET), and document verification. Over 3.5 lakh candidates were shortlisted for the PET based on the written exam results announced on July 11, 2024.
The results are available on the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in. However, the results of 845 candidates have been withheld due to court orders or suspected misconduct. The allocated vacancies are distributed as follows: 12,076 for BSF, 13,632 for CISF, 9,410 for CRPF, 1,926 for SSB, 6,287 for ITBP, 2,990 for Assam Rifles, and 296 for SSF.
