**JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA** – Pakistan’s cricket team will assemble in Dubai before traveling to South Africa for a crucial two-match Test series against the table-topping Proteas. The pre-series camp in Dubai will allow players currently participating in white-ball matches in South Africa, including captain Babar Azam and wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan, to join their teammates before the red-ball challenge.

Players from Karachi and Lahore will travel to Dubai to join the squad. Other key players like Naseem Shah, Kamran Ghulam, and Abdullah Shafique, who are in both the ODI and Test squads, will also participate in the preparatory camp. The full Test squad includes Shan Masood (captain), Saud Shakeel (vice-captain), Aamir Jamal, Abdullah Shafique, Babar Azam, Haseebullah (wk), Kamran Ghulam, Khurram Shahzad, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Naseem Shah, Noman Ali, Saim Ayub, and Salman Ali Agha.

Red-ball head coach Jason Gillespie will join the team in South Africa to oversee training and strategy ahead of the series.
