**Chennai, December 13, 2024** – The Rotary Club of Madras East launched “Project Vidya Shakti” on December 9th, aiming to improve education in rural Tamil Nadu. The ₹20 lakh initiative, partnered with CavinKare Private Limited, will establish 20 rural interaction centers across Cuddalore and Vellore districts. Guided by Open Mentor Trust and IIT-Madras, the project will utilize technology to enhance skills among students in classes V to VIII. IIT-Madras Director V. Kamakoti inaugurated the program.
