**Mumbai, India** – International Gemmological Institute (IGI), a Blackstone-backed company, is set to launch its initial public offering (IPO) on December 13th. The IPO, valued at ₹4225 crore, will include ₹1475 crore in fresh equity and ₹2750 crore from an offer for sale by promoter BCP Asia II. The price band is expected to be announced on December 9th.

The IPO will open for anchor investors on December 12th and close on December 17th, with listing anticipated on December 20th. Axis Capital, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company, Morgan Stanley, and SBI Capital are the lead managers. A portion of the shares (₹2 crore) will be reserved for employees. Allocation will be 75% for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs), 15% for non-institutional investors, and 10% for retail investors.

IGI plans to utilize ₹1300 crore from the fresh issue to acquire IGI Belgium Group and IGI Netherlands Group, with the remaining funds allocated for general corporate purposes. As of September 30th, 2024, IGI operated 31 branches across 10 countries, including India, Belgium, the USA, UAE, Hong Kong, and China, serving over 7500 clients.
