**New Delhi, December 10, 2024** – Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced today that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal will soon be allotted a government bungalow. Kejriwal, as head of a national party, is entitled to a Type VII bungalow, but current occupancy prevents immediate allocation. Mr. Khattar stated that while all Type VII bungalows are currently occupied, a bungalow will be provided to Mr. Kejriwal as soon as one becomes available. The AAP has been actively pressing for government accommodation for their leader, recently reiterating their demand in a letter to the Ministry. Kejriwal, who resigned as Delhi Chief Minister in September, has been residing at the official residence of AAP Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Mittal since October.
