**NEW DELHI, INDIA – [Date of Publication]** – Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus in India, boasting significant upgrades across the board. The device, priced similarly to its predecessor, the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, starts at ₹30,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant.

The phone features a redesigned, more durable chassis with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and Gorilla Glass 7i on the back – a combination Xiaomi claims is unique across the smartphone market. Improved water resistance is achieved via IP69 certification in addition to IP68.

Internal upgrades include a brighter 6.67-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display (up to 3000 nits), Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor paired with a 5000mm² vapor chamber cooling system, and a substantial 6200mAh battery with 90W fast charging (charger included). RAM options range from 8GB to 12GB, with storage up to 512GB.

Camera improvements are notable, featuring a 50MP f/1.6 OIS main lens, a 50MP 2.5x telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultrawide lens on the rear, alongside a boosted 20MP front camera.

While the phone ships with Android 14-based HyperOS (not the newer HyperOS 2.0), Xiaomi promises an upgrade to Android 15 early next year. Connectivity options are comprehensive, including 5G, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, and an IR emitter.
