**Vellore, Tamil Nadu –** A new public health initiative, “Healthy India, Happy India,” was launched in Vellore on Saturday. The joint venture between *The Hindu* newspaper and Naruvi Hospitals aims to raise awareness about preventive healthcare and promote wellness across the state.
Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin inaugurated the campaign, praising the partnership’s efforts to spread crucial health information. The initiative will feature a series of 15 webinars covering various health topics, presented by *The Hindu’s* editorial team and Naruvi Hospital specialists.
The first webinar, held in Vellore, focused on the impact of stress and sleep deprivation on overall health. Experts from various medical fields, including psychiatry and pulmonology, participated in the event. N. Ram, Director of The Hindu Group, emphasized Tamil Nadu’s leading role in healthcare initiatives, while G.V. Sampath, Founder and Chairman of Naruvi Hospitals, outlined the project’s goals. The program intends to empower individuals to prioritize their health through education and awareness.
