**NEW DELHI, December 4, 2024** – Honda has launched the 2024 Amaze in India, featuring a refreshed design, enhanced fuel efficiency, and a boosted safety suite. Available in V, VX, and ZX variants with manual and CVT automatic transmissions, the sub-4-meter sedan retains its 1.2-litre petrol engine but boasts improved mileage.
The CVT automatic transmission version achieves a fuel efficiency of 19.46 kmpl, a 1 kmpl improvement over its predecessor. Manual transmission variants see minimal change, maintaining a similar fuel economy of 18.65 kmpl.
The new Amaze boasts a redesigned exterior, drawing inspiration from other Honda models like the Elevate and City. Notable design elements include dual-pod LED headlights with LED DRLs, redesigned alloy wheels, and wraparound LED taillights. Inside, the cabin features a dual-tone black and beige theme, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch semi-digital driver’s display, and a wireless phone charger.
Safety has been significantly upgraded with standard six airbags across all variants and the inclusion of an advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS). ADAS features include lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision warning.
Priced between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 10.90 lakh (introductory ex-showroom, pan-India), the 2024 Honda Amaze directly competes with the Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor.
