NEW DELHI, [Date of Publication] – Honda Cars India launched the all-new 2024 Amaze on Wednesday, marking the third generation of the popular sedan. The new model boasts a redesigned exterior and interior, along with advanced features and enhanced safety technologies.

The 2024 Amaze is priced competitively, starting at ₹8 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant and going up to ₹10.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-end model. It will be available in three variants: V, VX, and ZX. The entry-level V MT is priced at ₹7.99 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top-of-the-line ZX CVT variant is priced at ₹10.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

Powering the new Amaze is a 1.2-liter four-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine delivering 89 bhp and 110 Nm of torque. Honda claims a fuel efficiency of 18.65 kmpl for the manual transmission and 19.46 kmpl for the CVT variant.

Key features of the new Amaze include an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, rear AC vents, an air purifier, automatic climate control, and walk-away auto lock. Safety features include six airbags and rear parking sensors. Exterior enhancements include LED projector headlamps with DRLs, LED fog lamps, and 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.

Honda aims to maintain its strong market position with the new Amaze, which holds a 40% share of the company’s sales in India. The previous two generations sold a combined total of approximately 5.80 lakh units. The 2024 Amaze is expected to compete directly with Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor.
