Wed Dec 04 02:20:00 UTC 2024: **Arkansas Razorbacks Upset Miami Hurricanes in SEC/ACC Challenge**

CORAL GABLES, FL – The Arkansas Razorbacks pulled off a thrilling 76-73 victory over the Miami Hurricanes Tuesday night in the SEC/ACC Challenge. Boogie Fland led the Razorbacks with 18 points and 6 assists, while D.J. Wagner added 14 points. Johnell Davis contributed 12 points, with 11 coming in the crucial second half. Zvonimir Ivisic’s 11 points also proved vital for Arkansas.

The Hurricanes, led by Nigel Pack’s 22 points, Matthew Cleveland’s 15 points and 10 rebounds, and Jalen Blackmon’s 12 points, held the lead for most of the game. However, a late surge by Arkansas, fueled by Fland’s clutch scoring, secured the comeback win. Ivisic’s 3-pointer, followed by Fland’s free throws and another three-pointer, gave Arkansas a 74-71 lead with under two minutes remaining – their first lead since the opening minutes. Although Miami briefly rallied, Fland’s final jumper and a missed last-second three-pointer by Blackmon sealed the victory for Arkansas.

The win snaps a five-game losing streak for Miami, who recently suffered an upset loss to Charleston Southern. Arkansas, whose only two losses this season were against ranked opponents at neutral sites (Baylor and Illinois), improves to 6-2 on the season.
