**New Delhi, December 3, 2024** – The Winter Session of Parliament saw a breakthrough today as the government and opposition reached an agreement to discuss the Constitution in both Houses, ending a stalemate. However, the Congress party, while agreeing to the discussion, announced plans for a protest outside Parliament on Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. concerning the Adani issue. Before the protest, Congress will meet with other INDIA bloc leaders to encourage participation.

Separately, concerns over the impact of Cyclone Fengal in Tamil Nadu prompted two Congress MPs to take action. MP Vijay Vasanth submitted a notice for an adjournment motion addressing the cyclone’s devastating effects on the state, highlighting loss of life and crop damage. Fellow MP B.
