**Bengaluru, India –** After years of anticipation, Honda is finally launching its highly anticipated Activa Electric scooter on November 27th. The launch event will take place in Bengaluru. Ahead of the launch, the electric scooter has generated considerable buzz, with Honda already releasing several teasers revealing key features and specifications.

The Activa Electric is expected to feature two removable batteries located under the seat, a technology similar to other Honda electric scooters in international markets. Teasers showcase the batteries being easily swapped at a battery-swapping station, allowing users to quickly replace depleted batteries with fully charged ones. Users will also have the option of charging the batteries at home.

Many elements of the Activa Electric appear to be inspired by Honda’s CUV e electric scooter concept, unveiled at the 2024 EICMA show and previously showcased at the 2023 Tokyo Motor Show. The teasers highlight similarities in design and mechanics between the two scooters, including the headlight design and seat shape.

Based on information from the CUV e, the Activa Electric is expected to offer three color options, modern styling, a dual TFT display (potentially in 5-inch or 7-inch versions with smartphone connectivity via Honda RoadSync Duo), 12-inch alloy wheels, a USB-C charging port, and a reverse mode. The CUV e boasts a 1.3 kWh battery pack, a top speed of 80 km/h, a range of up to 70 km on a full charge, and three riding modes (Standard, Sport, and Econ). Charging time from 0% to 75% is approximately 3 hours. The Activa Electric will utilize MRF tires.
