**New Delhi, November 27, 2024** – Delhi’s air quality showed a slight improvement on Wednesday morning, though it remains in the “poor” category. The Air Quality Index (AQI) at 9 am was recorded at 301, down from 343 at the same time on Tuesday, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). While this represents a decrease in severity, a thick haze still blankets the city.

No monitoring stations reported “severe” air quality levels on Wednesday, a significant improvement from Tuesday when 17 out of 39 stations recorded AQI levels in the “severe” category. An AQI of 400 or higher poses significant health risks.

The India Meteorological Department reported a minimum temperature of 10.4 degrees Celsius, slightly above normal, and forecast mainly clear skies with a maximum temperature around 27 degrees Celsius. Authorities continue to utilize measures such as anti-smog guns to mitigate pollution.
