**Lucknow, November 23, 2024** – The results for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly by-elections are expected to be announced today, Saturday, November 23rd. Nine constituencies—Mirapur, Kundarki, Ghaziabad, Khair (SC), Karhal, Sisamau, Phulpur, Katehri, and Majhwan—went to the polls on November 20th, with a total of 90 candidates vying for the seats. The main contenders were the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Samajwadi Party (SP).
Counting of votes will begin at 8:00 AM, with election officials and representatives from political parties present at the counting centers. Polling officials are expected to be at their designated tables by 6:00 AM. Live streaming of the results will be available on Aaj Tak’s YouTube channel and live TV, with updates also provided on their website, aajtak.in.
