**Gangtok, Sikkim – November 23, 2024** – The Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) has secured victory in two Sikkim assembly by-elections without contest. Aditya Golay won the Soreng-Chakung seat and Satish Chandra Rai won the Namchi-Singhithang seat after their opponents from the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) withdrew their nominations. The by-elections were held on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024. This leaves SKM with two additional seats in the state assembly.
