**New Delhi:** The fate of the Maharashtra and Jharkhand state governments, along with the results of several crucial by-elections, will be revealed today as vote counting commences at 8 AM. In Maharashtra, a tight contest is anticipated between the BJP-led Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) and the BJP-led alliance. Similarly, in Jharkhand, the battle is between the BJP-led NDA and the JMM-led alliance. The results will determine which coalition forms the government in both states.
The counting of votes for the Maharashtra Assembly elections, comprising 288 seats, will begin simultaneously with the Nanded Lok Sabha by-election results. Meanwhile, concerns have been raised in Jharkhand after the JMM alleged BJP deployed electronic experts near the counting centers and imposed restrictions on internet services and gadget usage within a two-kilometer radius.
Besides Maharashtra and Jharkhand, the results of by-elections across 13 states, including Uttar Pradesh (9 seats), Bihar, and Rajasthan, will also be announced today.
