**Rajgir, Bihar, November 18, 2024** – India’s women’s hockey team is poised to defend its Asian Champions Trophy title, facing Japan in the semifinals today at the Rajgir Sports Complex. Entering the knockout stage unbeaten, India boasts a dominant performance throughout the league matches, highlighted by a 3-0 victory over Japan in their final group game.
The team’s impressive offensive capabilities, with 26 goals scored including 14 from open play, are led by Deepika’s 10 goals.
