Mon Nov 18 00:15:25 UTC 2024: ## Netanyahu’s Home Targeted in Bomb Attack
**Caesarea, Israel** – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s private residence in Caesarea was the target of a bomb attack late Saturday night. Two small explosive devices, described as “fireballs,” landed in the courtyard of the home, according to the Shin Bet internal security agency and police. No injuries were reported, and Netanyahu and his family were not present at the time of the incident.
Authorities launched an immediate investigation into the attack, which is being treated as an act of attempted sabotage. CCTV footage has emerged, purportedly showing the moment the bombs struck the property. The incident has drawn widespread condemnation from across the Israeli political spectrum, with opposition leaders Yair Lapid and Benny Gantz issuing statements denouncing the attack and demanding swift action against those responsible. Israeli President Isaac Herzog also strongly condemned the attack, urging the Shin Bet to swiftly identify and apprehend the perpetrators, calling it a dangerous act of incitement.
This is the second attack targeting Netanyahu’s home in recent months. In October, a drone launched by the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah crashed into the grounds of his residence, though it failed to penetrate the building.
The investigation is ongoing.
