Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge accused the BJP of making false promises to the people, specifically highlighting their unfulfilled promise to double the Minimum Support Price (MSP). He alleged that the Congress government in Karnataka was “looting” people and using that money to fund elections in Maharashtra. Modi called for the Congress to be kept away from power in Maharashtra to prevent further alleged corruption.
Modi also lauded the development works being done by the BJP-led government in Maharashtra, particularly in Pune, emphasizing its focus on middle-class development and attracting foreign investment.
