**Charlotte, NC** – Krispy Kreme is celebrating World Kindness Day on Wednesday, November 13, by giving away free doughnuts to the first 500 customers at each participating store across the United States.
The company will be offering a dozen of its signature Original Glazed doughnuts, with no purchase necessary. This gesture is part of a global campaign to encourage acts of kindness.
“World Kindness Day is a reminder that we can all make a positive impact in people’s lives, including through small gestures like sharing a sweet treat,” said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme Global Chief Brand Officer. “We hope that each dozen Original Glazed doughnuts we give away enables and inspires many dozens of small acts of kindness.”
Krispy Kreme encourages those lucky enough to receive the free doughnuts to share their own acts of kindness on social media using #KrispyKreme and tagging @krispykreme.
This giveaway comes just days after Krispy Kreme announced four new Thanksgiving-inspired doughnuts, including the Apple Crumble Doughnut and the Lemon Creme Pie Doughnut.
