Tue Nov 12 12:08:26 UTC 2024: ## Maruti Suzuki Launches New Dzire at Rs. 6.79 Lakh, Scores Top Safety Rating

**New Delhi, India (November 10, 2023):** Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the new generation Dzire, its popular sub-four-metre sedan, with a starting price of Rs. 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated Dzire, which has already achieved a top score in Global NCAP crash tests, boasts a new design, advanced features, and a powerful new engine.

The fourth-generation Dzire is powered by a 1.2-litre Z-Series petrol engine paired with a five-speed manual or automatic transmission. The engine delivers 80bhp of power and 112Nm of torque. A CNG version is also available, offering 68bhp and 102Nm.

The refreshed design features a new grille with horizontal slats, LED headlights, revised bumpers, dual-tone alloy wheels, and triangular LED taillights. Inside, the Dzire gets a segment-first electric sunroof, a new dual-tone interior theme, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a flat-bottom steering wheel, a 360-degree camera, cruise control, rear AC vents, and automatic climate control.

Maruti Suzuki has not yet officially released the variant-wise pricing, but estimates suggest prices will range from Rs. 6.79 lakh to Rs. 10 lakh (ex-showroom) for the various trim levels.
